Join us for an introduction to throwing on the potter’s wheel and handbuilding techniques! This is a great class for beginners or anyone who just wants a refresher on the basics. The class duration is 90 minutes and has step-by-step instruction for two pieces, one using handbuilding techniques and one wheel-thrown piece. Each student will have the option to choose one glaze per piece for the studio to glaze for them.
Pieces that the studio glazes will be fired and ready for pick up within 3-4 weeks.

All materials and tools needed for the class are provided, including clay, sculpting tools, glazes, and kiln firing services. Participants are encouraged to bring their creative ideas and experiment with different forms and styles under the guidance of our instructors.
